The new exclusive of PS4, Horizon Zero Down, is a big post-apocalyptic open world filled with big and dangerous animal robots.

This is an original title and an action RPG.

You play as Aloy, the heroine of this tale. In this world, humans live in tribes, and the animal robots have been becoming more violent and dangerous to humans, so Aloy embarqs on a quest to find out the reason.

Exploring ancient ruins for diaries (which uncovers information about the old civilization), solving conflicts between tribes and hunting for the machinery (robot beasts) are among the activities you must do.

Aloy has several weapons that she can use, and there is an easy crafting system which can be used to make some of them and their ammunition.

  1. Hey man and thanks for this cool and informative review of Horizon zero. I like the gist of this game. But I prefer multiplayer/co-op games. would be so great if they could add it. So I’m not sure if I am going to buy it. But nevermind what I am First going to wait a little unstillbare the price drops.

  2. Nice! I used to play exclusives all the time back in the day! But it seems like these days most games come out on all systems. But I do have a PS4, so Horizon Zero Dawn looks pretty good!

I actually do play quite a few RPG games as I have always loved the story and game play that you typically get to experience in them. The normal play time for the ones I’ve done were usually around the 40 hour mark, so it looks like this one is right in that ballpark.

How would you say the soundtrack is for it? The music has always been one of the things I enjoyed most in RPGs.

  3. I have heard good things about this game. I do love my open world games as well. Another game I have been looking at lately is The Witcher 3 wild hunt, although I have never played any of the Witcher games so I am a bit worried that I wouldn’t know whats going on in the third edition of the series.

Gameplay wise, what would you prefer? Horizon or Witcher 3?

    1. Don´t worry, I was exactly in the same spot as you are now, I had never played any game of the Witcher series until this game and you don´t need. This game is one of my favorites open world games with Horizon Zero Down be another one.
